Caroline has a Master of Counselling degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Murdoch University and a Bachelor in Health Science (Health Promotion) with a Minor in Addiction Studies from Edith Cowan University. Caroline works with Individuals, Couples, Teenagers, and NDIS clients.

Client Experience

When you meet with Caroline for the first time, she will have a lot of questions for you. This is because Caroline needs to get to know you and the issues you are struggling with. You and Caroline become a team for the duration of your appointments, working through your issues, the background or causes relating to them, and exploring which strategies may best help you to regain strength, confidence, and forward momentum. If you are feeling lost or lacking direction, Caroline will help you to explore your values and passions and how to move toward expressing them in your daily life. Caroline will help you to grow in self-knowledge, self-esteem, confidence, and self-compassion. Caroline will help you to understand why you think the way you do, and how to address thoughts that are self-defeating. While much of this work is done in the counselling room, you can also anticipate a bit of homework to help you to move forward and to consolidate your good work.

Therapeutic Approach

Caroline is primarily a Person-Centred, Strength-Based counsellor. This means her focus is on you, her client, because you are the expert of your own life, and how to best help you re/discover and utilise your strengths to move forward into a happier life.  Caroline is also an integrative counsellor, which means she utilises various counselling methodologies as required, tailoring treatment to suit the individual that you are.
